Portland, OR (September 28, 2021) – Authorities in the Portland area were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident that ended in injuries Monday evening. At around 8:59 p.m., on September 27, the Portland Police Department, firefighters, and medical personnel received the notification that a crash on Southeast 14th Avenue required assistance.
Reports from the Portland police indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked Southeast 14th Avenue in the area of Southeast Powell Boulevard.
The incident prompted emergency crews to secure the area as they worked to clear the roadway.
EMS rendered aid to injured parties while at the scene. An undisclosed number of people were transported to area hospitals where they underwent further treatment of injuries.
At this time, the police in Portland are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
