Portland, OR (June 24, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident took place on Wednesday morning that left at least one person injured. At around 7:50 a.m., on June 22, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 5.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked several lanes of northbound Interstate 5. The incident caused delays in the area near the exit for Corbett. The Portland Police Bureau and firefighters closed off several lanes of the highway as they worked to clear the scene.

Medical personnel rendered aid to injured victims on-site before transporting them to area hospitals for further care.

Police and firefighters remained on-site for an extended period as they worked to clear the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Portland Police Bureau.
