Portland, OR (July 1, 2022) – A vehicle collision reported in the Portland area on Thursday afternoon left at least one person injured. Around 1:45 p.m., on June 30, the police, firefighters, and medical personnel were all dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Southwest 26th Avenue.
Reports provided by the Portland Police Bureau indicate that a collision between vehicles occurred on Southwest 26th Avenue at the intersection of Southwest Capitol Highway. The incident blocked the roadway, causing significant delays in traffic throughout the area.
The police and firefighters secured a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
Medical personnel rendered aid to victims on site before transporting them to area hospitals for further care.
