Portland, OR (October 22, 2022) – A vehicle accident occurred in the Portland area early Saturday morning that resulted in injuries. At around 12:45 a.m., on October 22, calls for assistance were received regarding a wreck on the Interstate 5 Freeway.

According to reports from the Portland Police Bureau, a collision between vehicles occurred on the southbound side of the Interstate 5 Freeway. The incident caused delays near exit 297 and Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard.

At least one person suffered injuries due to the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital for medical care.

The crash remains under investigation by the PPB at this time.
