Portland, OR (October 19, 2022) – A traffic incident reported in the Portland area sent at least one person to a nearby hospital, where they underwent treatment for injuries. At around 1:10 p.m., on October 18, officers from the Portland Police Bureau received a notification that a crash occurred on East Burnside Street.

According to PPB, a traffic incident involving vehicles blocked East Burnside Street at the intersection of Southeast 53rd Avenue. The incident caused interruptions in traffic throughout the area.

EMS was dispatched to the site of the accident to provide assistance. Victims were provided medical treatment on-site and transported by ambulance to local hospitals, where they underwent further care.

The police and Portland are conducting an investigation into the collision at this time.
