Portland, OR – Injuries Follow Auto Wreck at SE Powell Blvd and SE 28th Ave
Portland, OR (September 10, 2022) – A motor vehicle crash occurred in the Portland area on Friday morning that ended in injuries. Just before 8 a.m., on September 9, the Portland Police Bureau responded to a crash on Southeast Powell Boulevard.
Preliminary reports show that a motor vehicle accident blocked Southeast Powell Boulevard in the area near Southeast 28th Avenue during the morning hours. The police and firefighters responded to the scene.
Officers assisted firefighters in closing off a portion of the roadway. Crews spent an extended time on site clearing the scene. Crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and allow through traffic.
At least one person involved in the accident was injured. Medical personnel rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries in the crash. The injured parties were then transported by ambulance to an area medical facility for further treatment.
The police import and are investigating the crash at this time.
