Portland, OR – Head-On Crash on Highway 99 north of Southwest Langer Farms Parkway Leaves Six Injured
Portland, OR (September 12, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in Washington County on Saturday evening sent several victims to local hospitals with injuries. At around 9:45 p.m., on September 10, multiple deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of an automobile accident on Highway 99.
The preliminary reports indicate that a northbound vehicle and a southbound vehicle collided head-on, on Highway 99 just north of Southwest Langer Farms Parkway.
Six people suffered injuries due to the motor vehicle accident. All six victims were transported to area hospitals for further care. Witnesses stated that they saw a vehicle driving south in the northbound lanes prior to the accident occurring.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was tested for alcohol after the collision. The results showed that the blood alcohol content of the driver was 0.19, which is over twice the legal limit.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
