Portland, OR (November 2, 2021) – Two people have lost their lives following a motorcycle accident in the Portland area on Saturday evening, October 30.

According to reports from the Oregon State Police, 62-year-old Judee Fehsenfeld was traveling south on Highway 219. Fehsenfeld stopped her vehicle briefly at the intersection. As she then attempted to re-enter the roadway, her vehicle struck a BMW K16 motorcycle.

The impact of the crash sent the motorcycle into oncoming traffic where it collided with a second vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Traci Holmes.

The driver of the motorcycle, 78-year-old H. Steven Sorensen, and his passenger, 77-year-old Joanne De May, were both killed in the accident. Emergency crews pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.

Holmes and her two passengers, 67-year-old Marla Robertson and 84-year-old Beverly Lane, were all injured. The three victims were transported to a local hospital for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
