Portland, OR – Frederick Scheffler II & Kyle Rieger Lose Lives in Auto Accident on Highway 26 near NecanicumOregon Legal News
Portland, OR (May 30, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Portland area has claimed the lives of two men. On May 28, the Portland police department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Highway 26.
Reports provided by authorities so that a test low is traveling on Highway 26 when it collided with a higher Hyundai Tucson Van near Necanicum. The incident caused severe delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the Tesla, 49-year-old Frederick Scheffler II, was fatally injured and died at the scene.
The driver of the higher Hyundai, 26-year-old Kyle Rieger, suffered severe injuries. He was airlifted from the scene to UHSU for emergency medical care. Authorities confirm that Rieger passed away from his injuries after arriving at the hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
