Car Accidents in Oregon
Auto collisions across the state of Oregon are taking place more often. Each year, we see thousands of people hospitalized each year with broken bones, spinal cord injuries, internal organ damages, and other life-threatening injuries that demand immediate medical care. In many instances, victims require hospitalization and have to take several weeks or even months off work to recover. The immediate and long-term consequences leave victims to deal with an array of negative consequences. Regrettably, families of those harmed are often forced to bear the impact of a crash as well.
Although we have many laws in place to protect motorists traveling in Portland and across the state, we continue to see victims harmed due to the negligence of other motorists. When drivers engage in reckless and negligent actions while operating their vehicles, they place themselves and others sharing the road at an increased risk of being seriously injured or killed.
In cases where victims sustain injuries in crashes caused by negligent drivers, it is crucial that they reach out to a car accident attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation to help alleviate the financial burdens they face moving forward.
