Fatal Car Accidents in Portland, Oregon

Portland, OR – Darin Kleiven Killed in Truck Crash on Highway 34 near MM 15Every year, motor vehicle collisions throughout our state leave tens of thousands of people with life-altering injuries. Although we want to believe that everyone is able to overcome their injuries, this is not always the case. Regrettably, there are many instances where victims succumb to their injuries. In fact, around 500 people lose their lives each year in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of Oregon. When victims are involved in crashes with semi-trucks, the chances of suffering fatal injuries are significantly increased.

Regrettably, around 80% of vehicle collisions are a result of driver action. When drivers are distracted, impaired, or engage in reckless behaviors while operating their vehicles, they are likely to cause accidents with overwhelming consequences. When victims lose their lives in accidents, their families are often left to bear unimaginable mental and emotional consequences. To make matters even worse, families are often forced to go without a reliable source of income while having to spend tens of thousands of dollars on end-of-life arrangements.

When victims lose their lives in crashes due to the negligence of others, it is crucial that their families seek the legal guidance of a wrongful death attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Working with a trusted and aggressive legal team is a family’s best bet for recovering.
