Fatal Plane Accidents in Oregon
Between 2017 and 2018, the number of airplane accidents in the United States increased from 1,315 to 1,347. This number continues to rise each year. Not only are we seeing more frequent airplane accidents, but the results are worsening as well. Although there are many reasons why plane accidents take place, pilot errors tend to be the leading cause. This is followed by defective parts, communication errors, negligence, and inexperience. Regrettably, human errors continue to claim the lives of hundreds of people each year in plane accidents. Thousands more are left with serious injuries that require immediate and ongoing medical attention.
Victims who are involved in airplane accidents are often left with serious injuries like broken bones, burn injuries, brain and neck injuries, and spinal cord damage. The consequences of airplane accidents are often catastrophic due to their very nature.
