Portland, OR (June 7, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Portland area on Sunday afternoon ended in injuries. Just after 3:30 p.m., on June 5, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a collision that took place on Southeast Knapp Street.

According to reports, a crash between vehicles blocked the 9100 block of Southeast Knapp Street during the afternoon hours. The incident caused some delays in traffic as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. The Portland Police Bureau and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as they work to remove vehicles from lanes of travel.

At least one person involved in the accident was transported by EMS to an area hospital for medical care.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
