Portland, OR – Car Crash with Injuries reported on I-205 near NE Glisan St
Portland, OR (August 24, 2021) – Emergency crews in the Portland area were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent an undisclosed number of people to area hospitals with injuries.
At around 2:52 a.m., on August 24, the Portland Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 205 Freeway. Reports show that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of the freeway near the exit for Northeast Glisan Street during the early morning hours.
The incident caused some disruptions in traffic as crews worked to clear the roadway.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to render aid to victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
