Portland, OR – Car Crash on US-30 Causes Injuries & Delays
Portland, OR (July 21, 2021) – An automobile accident reported just east of Astoria on Monday morning ended in injuries and delays. At approximately 2 a.m., on July 10, emergency crews were notified that a crash required assistance on US Highway 30.
Reports provided by the Oregon Department of Transportation show that a collision involving multiple vehicles blocked US Highway 30, just 10-miles east of Astoria during the morning hours. The incident prompted several first responders to close off the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to victims. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the police.
