Portland, OR – Car Accident on I-84 near Fairview Pkwy Ends in Injuries

Portland, OR (February 16, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident that took place on Monday morning in the Portland area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 8:50 a.m., on February 14, the Portland Police Bureau was notified that an auto accident occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 84.

Reports from PPB show that a collision involving an undisclosed number of vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of the interstate in the area near Fairview Parkway. The incident caused delays in the area as emergency crews worked to move the vehicles from the lanes of travel.

EMS provided treatment to at least one person at the scene of the accident. The injured victims were then transported to local hospitals for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
