Portland, OR (October 7, 2022) – A fatal crash took place in Marion County on Monday evening that claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman. On October 3, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash that took place on Golf club Road Southeast.

At around 7:15 p.m., 57-year-old Bridget Turner of Stayton, Oregon, was traveling north on Golf Club Road Southeast. For unknown reasons, her vehicle collided with a Kia Optima near Mill Creek Road Southeast.

Turner suffered severe injuries in the crash. She was airlifted to an area hospital, where she passed away from her injuries.

The driver of the Kia, a 21-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
