Portland, OR (August 2, 2022) – Emergency crews were notified that a motor vehicle accident took place on Monday morning in the Portland area that required assistance. At around 8:55 a.m., on August 1, the Portland Police Bureau, firefighters, and emergency medical services were requested on-site at a crash that occurred on Southeast 70th Avenue.

Police reports indicate that a collision blocked Southeast 70th Avenue in the area near South East Center Street during the morning hours. Local police and firefighters blocked off a large portion of the roadway. Responding authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway. Crews worked quickly to clear the scene in order to restore the flow of traffic.

At least one person was injured due to this automobile accident and transported to a nearby medical facility where they underwent medical treatment for injuries.

The Portland police Bureau is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
