Portland, OR (May 20, 2022) – Authorities were notified that an auto accident took place in the Portland area that required assistance. At around 3:40 p.m., on May 19, officers with the Portland Police Bureau and firefighters were dispatched to an auto accident on Southeast 9th Avenue.

Reports from the PPB show that a collision between vehicles blocked Southeast 9th Avenue in the area of Southeast Linn Street. The incident caused significant delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to victims. Those in need of further assistance were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the police at this time.
