Portland, OR (September 3, 2022) – Emergency crews were notified that across reported in the Portland area required assistance. Just after 3:15 p.m., on September 2, the Portland Police Bureau, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene of a crash on Northwest 18th Avenue.

Police reports indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked Northwest 18 Avenue in the area of Northwest Flanders Street. The police and firefighters closed off multiple lanes of the roadway as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the scene.

Medics rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries as a result of the accident. At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a nearby medical facility, where they underwent further treatment for injuries suffered as a result of the crash.

The police and Portland are investigating the incident at this time.
