Portland, OR – Accident with Injuries Reported on SE Blanton St near SE Reed Dr
Portland, OR (July 3, 2021) – Authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Friday evening that sent at least one person in the Portland area to a local hospital with injuries. On July 2, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Southeast Blanton Street.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a collision between a silver SUV and an unknown number of vehicles took place on Southeast Blanton Street at the intersection of Southeast Reed Drive. The incident blocked the roadway, causing severe delays throughout the area. Emergency crews closed the roadway for several hours as they work to clear the scene and investigate.
EMS responded to the scene to provide treatment to injured victims. An undisclosed number of victims were transported to local hospitals for further care. At this time, the Beaverton Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
