Portland, OR (April 24, 2022) – A two-vehicle accident reported in the Portland area ended in injuries. At around 8:30 a.m., on April 21, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash that took place on Highway 26.

Reports from the Hillsboro Fire & Rescue show that two vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 26 near the Cornelius Pass Road exit. One vehicle crashed into a tree, trapping one person inside.

Firefighters were able to extricate the victim from the mangled vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
