Portland, OR (September 21, 2022) – The Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene of a vehicle collision on Tuesday morning that resulted in injuries. Just after 4:50 a.m., on September 20, calls for help came to the police regarding a crash that occurred on Interstate 84.

Reports provided by the police in Portland show that a crash between vehicles blocked the eastbound side of Interstate 84 near exit 5 and Northeast 82nd Avenue.

The incident caused severe disruptions throughout the area. The police and firefighters blocked off the interstate as they worked to clear the area and remove damaged vehicles from the scene. Paramedics provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries in the crash. Those who required further assistance were then transported to local hospitals.

The police department is investigating the crash at this time.
