Portland, OR – Accident at I-205 Freeway near NE Sandy Blvd Ends in Injuries
Portland, OR (August 12, 2022) – Authorities in the Portland area were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash that resulted in injuries on Thursday, August 11.
At around 4:55 p.m., officers with the Portland Police Bureau were notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of an auto wreck on Interstate 205 Freeway.
Police reports indicate that a crash between vehicles occurred on the southbound side of the interstate near Northeast Sandy Boulevard. The Portland Police Bureau blocked a portion of the road as they worked to clear the scene.
Paramedics were notified that assistance was needed due to reported injuries. At least one victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where they went through medical care.
The crash remains under investigation.
