Oak Grove, OR (October 19, 2021) – One woman has lost her life following an accident in Clackamas County on Saturday evening, October 16. At around 7 p.m., the Oregon State Police was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a major collision on Oregon State Highway 99E.

Reports from authorities show that 43-year-old Angelina Sloan was driving a Chevy Trailblazer north on Highway 99E when her vehicle rear-ended on Toyota Yaris, driven by 59-year-old Terry Tomaszewski, which was stopped at a red light near Oak Grove Boulevard.

The impact of the crash sent both vehicles forward into the intersection where the Chevy collided with a westbound Saturn SUV, which was operated by a 17-year-old female from the Milwaukie area.

A passenger in the Yaris, identified as 70-year-old Mary Ring, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Sloan, Tomaszewski, and the teen driver were all transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
