Milwaukie, OR (September 24, 2021) – Two people were left seriously injured following a motor vehicle accident in the Milwaukie area on Thursday afternoon. At around 2:30 p.m., on September 23, emergency crews were requested at the scene of an accident on Highway 99 East.

Reports from authorities show that a car and a semi-truck collided on Highway 99E at the intersection of Southeast Ochoco Street during the afternoon hours.

The car became entrapped under the truck, pinning both occupants inside. The two victims sustained significant injuries in the accident. One victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. The second victim was transported to an area trauma center.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
