Gresham, OR – Two Injured in Four-Vehicle Wreck on I-84 near SE 162nd Ave

Gresham, OR (July 16, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident reported by the Oregon Department of Transportation sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. On July 14, the Oregon State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 84.

Preliminary investigations show that a white pickup truck, a blue sedan, a white van, and a black sedan collided on the westbound side of Interstate 84 in the area near Southeast 162nd Avenue. The Gresham Fire Department responded to assist.

The crash blocked several lanes of the interstate, prompting crews to close off the westbound side of the interstate as they worked to clear the scene.

At least two people involved in the accident suffered injuries and were transported to area hospitals.

The crash is under investigation by the Oregon State police at this time.
