Grand Ronde, OR (January 27, 2022) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident on Monday evening in Grand Ronde. At around 7:50 p.m., on January 24, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Highway 18.
Reports from the Oregon State Police show that a black Toyota Camry 4D was traveling east on Highway 18 when it crossed over the centerlines and collided with a Honda Accord.
One person in the accident suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The victim was identified as 67-year-old Steven Donaldson. His passenger, 35-year-old Angelina Rakestraw, was transported to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
