Forest Grove, OR – Woman Airlifted to Hospital Following Pedestrian Crash on 19th Ave near Hawthorne St that Left Her & Young Child Injured
Forest Grove, OR (January 6, 2023) – A pedestrian accident took place in the Forest Grove area that left two people injured. Just before 7 a.m., on January 5, the police and firefighters in Forest Grove were called to the scene of an accident on 19th Avenue.
According to reports, a woman was pushing a stroller with a child in it on 19th Avenue near Hawthorne Street during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck both the woman and the child.
The woman suffered severe injuries in the crash. She was airlifted from the scene of the accident and flown to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The child was provided transportation to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, the Forest Grove Police Department is investigating the accident.
