Fatal Car Accidents in Oregon

Clackamas County, OR – Miguel Adams Killed in Three-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 224Hundreds of fatal vehicle collisions occur annually in the state of Oregon. Many of these accidents involve some form of negligence. We see countless people end up losing their lives as a result of drivers who are speeding, using their cell phones, impaired, or engaging in other reckless actions. Even though any type of crash has the potential to cause serious harm to victims, head-on collisions are often more severe.

When two vehicles collide head-on, the force of the impact is doubled. This is because the speed of each vehicle is added together when they collide. Head-on accidents are often more severe and fatal because of this increased force.

Head-on collisions also tend to be more fatal because of the positioning of the vehicles. When two vehicles collide head-on, the driver and front passenger are usually positioned in such a way that they take the full force of the impact. This can result in serious injuries or even death.
